  • Re: the Colorado opt-out story: Americans across the country should opt out of state schools that are subject to federal governance, in order to inspire the repeal, due to its revealed unenforceability, of the “Every Student Succeeds” act, to be replaced by something like the Choices in Education Act of 2017, which should facilitate the use of education savings accounts to be used as vouchers for tuition in private schools not subject to the continuing federal testing mandate and the substandard Common Core. This troubling story shows that the federal government continues to abuse the states, whose schools commonly misidentify pupils as “proficient” under federally subsidized standards that leave American youth 2-3 years behind their peers in East Asia and northern Europe whose nations have the genuinely world-class standards the CCSSI promised but failed to deliver. American families wanting their children to be able to compete with these foreign students need to remove themselves from state schools and enter institutions like One World College, whose students are preparing for admission to some of the world’s top university college institute faculty programmes.
